Meet Lidia
Born in Melbourne to Italian migrant parents, I have always been surrounded by creative people. My father - a tiler - has always put incredible care and detail into his work always surrounding himself with personal projects for our home. On top of his tiling and mosaic projects, he was always behind the camera at family events, and his interest in photography was a major influence on me from as early as I can remember.
My life has always been about remembering moments; I always carried a camera at school excursions and was the designated photographer at parties. More recently, I obtained my Diploma in Photoimaging and received two AIPP Silver Awards for both Illustrative, and Family designs.
My passion lies in bringing a unique perspective to what some see as ordinary landscapes or architecture, leaving the images as natural and beautiful as the moment I capture them. In an age of doctored photos, the most stunning pieces in my view are always the most natural.
Living the Inner-North life with my geeky husband, energetic long-haired dachshund, and stumpy short-haired dachshund, you’ll often catch us walking around to cafes and nearby parks. Whether it’s a regional Victorian trail walk, or a drag show, we’re always trying to support our local businesses and artists.
